Wynn Macau Expandign to 85 gaming tables and 551 slot machines
Expansion seems to be the all over Macau and it has not gotten pass Steve Wynn. Starting Monday the Wynn Macau will start an expansion project that will add 85 gaming tables and 551 slot machines to his casino resort.This new expansion will feature a new rotunda entrance and bring the casino’s capacity to a total of 390 tables and 1,190 slot machines.
This expansion news comes just two days after the MGN Grand opened its first Asia casino at a cost of $1.25 billion. The Grand will have a capacity of gambling tables, 800 slot machines and 16 private gaming rooms.
Wynn has also announced its plans to add 11 luxury stores at the first of the year and another400 luxury suites and more shopping and high-roller gaming space when they expand into what will be known as within the next two years.
Macau had gambling revenue of $6.95 billion in 2006 finishing just ahead of the $6.69 billion of the Las Vegas Strip.
