The First Annual Tony and Eva Parker Celebrity Casino Night will take place August 9th at Pedrotti’s North Wind Ranch in San Antonio, Texas. The Event will be hosted by UltimateBet and will benefit Eva’s Heroes. UltimateBet announced their sponsorship this past Wednesday and UltimateBet pro Phil Hellmuth will be hosting the event. Hellmuth stated that he is very excited that the popularity of poker can help such an important cause. Eva Longoria is the founder of Eva’s Heroes and created the charity to enrich the lives of people with developmental challenges and to help children and young adults with special needs to be productive in society.

The tournament will include a buffet dinner, $10,000 in chips for the Texas Hold’em tournament and $2,000 in chips for the other casino games. Players must buy-in the tournament for $300 and the winner will receive a seat to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, which is being donated by UltimateBet.

There will also be a live auction where UltimateBet has donated an Aruba Poker Classic prize package that includes a seat to the Main Event in Aruba, a lesson with Phil Hellmuth and a head to head poker game. The lucky winner of the Aruba seat will get to see celebrities such as Don Cheadle and Scott Ian who have already confirmed their attendance. The celebrities who have confirmed to attend the Eva’s Heroes event include: Tim Duncan, Sean Elliot, Willie Garson, Jennifer Morrison, Katie Chonacas, and many others. Several of the entertainment news stations will also be on hand to cover the action including: Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight. It is sure to be an exciting night that will raise money for a worthy cause.
