Criminals try to rob casinos on a relatively regular basis. Sometimes they get away sometimes they are caught. Most of the time when they get away it is because they had a vehicle standing by to take them away. However in a recent casino robbery it was a speedboat that took the robbers away from a casino.

Five armed men in masks robbed a casino in Malta just two nights ago, stealing everything in the safe and then made their getaway via speedboat. The robbers entered the Casino di Venezia at around seven thirty in the evening. The employees were told to lie on the floor and not move. A fifth person was located outside with a car and the robbers left in the car to go to a nearby speedboat where they escaped.

The above statement was released by the casino manager who emailed a statement to press yesterday. The robbers managed to get away with 500,000 Euros and police are looking into the matter.
