The Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem recently reported to the police that the casino had been vandalized and a theft had taken place. Police reported that a blackjack machine had been vandalized and a purse was stolen on the very same day.

An unidentified man slammed down his fist late Wednesday afternoon on a video blackjack machine at the casino. The man broke the glass faceplate on the machine and he left a few minutes later. The man caused around $400 in damages to the machine and the incident is still under investigation by the police.

That same day around 11:50PM Mary Persichetti’s purse was stolen from the bar in the casino. The purse along with its contents was found though it was minus $200 in cash. The purse and contents were found later that night in another area of the casino. Police are still investigating this theft as well.
