Profit Down in Third Quarter for Online Casino Developer
The Swedish based online gambling software developer, Boss Media, has felt a drop in its operating profit in the third quarter. Going from $2.81 million, dropping down to $1.84 million in the third quarter, nearly a 35 percent drop.Since the beginning of this year, sales for the company have fallen from being $36.36 million, down to $36.23 million, will royal revenues falling by 8 percent which were $28.92 million last year and this year being $26.60 million. Their operating profit also slipping from $7.04 million last year, down to $6.16 million. Resulting in a net profit for the nine months being $5.53 million, which dropped drastically from last years $8.97 million.
The company stated there's been nearly an 11 percent drop in total revenues which are $10.79 million, a drop since this same time last year.
This software development company has undertaken efforts, being quite determined to increase their sales volume. They also expect that launching new and updated products will continue to have a favorable impact on its revenues.
They feel that online gaming appears to be capable of continued moderate growth in several markets, of course slower now than in the past, with bingo being the fastest current growing segment.
