More Human Remains Found, Now at a Washington State Tribal Casino Excavation Site
Similar to the recent events of remains being found at the Las Vegas casino building sites, remains were found at the new casino building site in Omak, Washington. Crews began working at the site on U.S. highway 97 on July 7th after the ground breaking ceremony.

The news release that the tribal council released stated that archeologists have been monitoring the new tribal casino site since the excavation began. Jeanne Jerred, the tribal chairwoman stated that they are still unaware of how long the remains have been there or if they are of one or more people.

Since then the Colville tribal officials have begun the search for a new location for the 24 million dollar casino's home. Officials had hoped for the new casino to generate around 20 million dollars a year for Colville Tribal Enterprise Corp as well as employing 250 people. The casino was scheduled to open next summer although the new opening date has yet to be announced.
