The Las Vegas casino Harrah’s has announced earlier this week they will be entering the online casino venture and stated they will look to base their operation outside of the United States due to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. In their statements they alluded to the fact that they are looking toward the European market as the Internet gambling laws in the UK are much more relaxed.

There have been reports that once Harrah’s enters the online casino market other land based casinos will shortly follow and with this there is the though that the United States may soon change their stand on Internet gambling by licensing and regulating online gambling.

This would not only allow online casino operators in the United States to offer their casinos to American players but it would also allow legal monetary transactions by American banks and credit card companies.

As Harrah’s land based casino offers full line of gambling games in their land based Las Vegas casino their appearance on the Internet, as an online casino will bring their full range of games to online players.

In statements from Harrah’s Casino they stated that they believe that online poker may be legalized and regulated within the next couple of years.
