It seems these days, Chef Gordon Ramsay is better known for his outbursts on reality television than for his cuisine. Staring in Kitchen Nightmares, Ramsay is known to yell profanities and get in the face of those who seek his help. Most recently, Ramsay has teamed up with the Crown Casino in Australia to open a new restaurant.

The new restaurant is called Maze and is famous around the world. The cuisine will be mostly French with Asian influences. Maze is one of London’s most famous restaurants, as well as around the world. Crown casino is hoping that the reputation of the Maze will further the class of the casino.

The Chief Executive of Crown, David Courtney, stated: "Bringing Gordon Ramsay and Maze to Melbourne further cements our strategy of bringing some of the world's best dining experiences to Crown and Melbourne.”

Maze will be located at the third hotel of the Crown. The restaurant is expected to open in 2010 as construction has not been completed. Ramsay has stated he is very excited about the restaurant project: "This is our first step in bringing the Gordon Ramsay brand to Australia and after seeing the way Crown operates we feel that this is an exciting and challenging opportunity," he said.
