IG Sport is a London based spread betting firm. The Company recently announced that they have launched the first online casino licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission. The site is powered by the Canadian firm Chartwell Technology Incorporated. The Canadian company provides the software for the website.

IG Sport owns the fixed odds betting site, ExtraBet, and they are using ExtraBet to market and control operations of the casino. Chartwell’s gaming system was certified by the UK regulatory authorities before the site was launched.

The Managing Director for IG Sport, Stuart Lane, has stated that they are glad to be working with Chartwell and they are proud that they have launched the first UK Gambling Commission licensed online casino.
